CALL FOR PRESENTERS!
The Texas Association of School Resource Officers is currently accepting training proposals for its 10th annual Texas School Safety Conference to be held July 23 - July 28, 2023, at the Omni Corpus Christi. TASRO is seeking trainers that will provide quality training to school-based police officers, school administrators, and other school safety professionals on the NASRO TRIAD model of law enforcement officer, public safety educator, and informal counselor/mentor. Training sessions must offer information on current trends, present new skills, and engage attendees in an information-packed learning experience. TASRO training sessions provide learning opportunities for SROs, SSOs, educators, and administrators at all levels of experience.
Training sessions will not be utilized to promote products or services. Vendors, please contact Tina Lincoln at email@example.com regarding the many opportunities to participate in the TASRO Texas Association School Safety Conference.

Complete all areas of the form, including the trainer agreement. Incomplete proposals will not be considered.
Separate forms are required for each session proposed. Multiple submissions are allowed.
Training sessions are either 240 minutes or 4 hours in length. Breakout training sessions are tentatively scheduled to be held on Wednesday, July 26 and Thursday Morning, July 27.
Break out trainers will not receive a stipend and must pay all travel expenses; however, TASRO will provide up to two trainer(s) with a paid conference pass (valued at $750).
When reviewing proposals, preference will be given to trainers who have not trained at a TASRO conference the past two years.
Call for Trainer submissions will be accepted through 4:00 pm CST February 15, 2023.
Invitations will be extended to trainers by March 15, 2023.
