Bridging the Gap Between Cops and Kids

If you are attending the NASRO Conference in Baltimore be on the lookout for information about a TASRO information meeting. Chadd Springer will be hosting the meeting one evening during the week of the conference. The date, time, and location will also be posted on here as soon as it is determined. If you'd like to contact Chadd while your at the conference, send an email to chadd.springer@tasro.org and he will meet with you.

Greetings Texas School Resource Officers, School Staff, and Guests,

Welcome to the Texas Association of School Resource Officers website. TASRO has a new Board of Directors and is heading in a new direction. The beliefs of this board is that we work for you and want you involved in this association.

The board will be meeting to discuss a possible annual conference, creating regions to have a better representation of the state, and many other ideas. If you are a current member, an ex-member, or are considering joining TASRO, we, the board, want you to know you will get the type of association you are looking for. If you have ideas for the site you are urged to contact a board member and share your thoughts.

A quarterly newsletter will be created to keep all members up to date with what is taking place within the world of SROs in Texas. If you would like to submit an article to be included in the newsletter please go to the SRO News section.

So look around and we hope you enjoy the Texas Association of School Resource Officers website.
