At the Texas Association of School Resource Officers (TASRO), our mission is clear: creating safe schools for every student. Achieving that mission requires more than law enforcement working alongside educators. It takes true collaboration. When educators join TASRO, they gain the opportunity to train directly with school-based law enforcement, building mutual understanding of each other’s roles in school safety. This partnership creates a more unified, streamlined approach to supporting students and protecting the community. With TASRO membership, educators not only strengthen their knowledge of school safety practices but also gain valuable connections and partnerships that amplify their impact.
